Relaxing baths
For a relaxing essential oil bath, pour 8 drops of chamomile essential oil, 8 drops of lavender essential oil and 5 drops of marjoram essential oil into a solvent. Other composition: petit grain essential oil and orange essential oil (8 drops of each to be diluted in a solvent - e.g. Solub-HE)
You can also enjoy the benefits of Dead Sea bath salts. With its rich mineral content, Dead Sea salt purifies, soothes and regenerates the body.
Slimming baths
Essential oils are ideal for slimming, as their active ingredients help the body to release fat. Recommended essential oils include juniper essential oil, cypress essential oil, geranium essential oil, cedar essential oil and lemongrass essential oil. To create the ideal blend, mix 2 drops of each in a neutral base before adding to the bath water. Finish the essential oil bath with a cold water shower.
Bathing with toning essential oils
To tone up, try a blend of lemon essential oil, nutmeg essential oil and rosemary cineole essential oil. Dissolve 8 drops of each in 250 ml of neutral bath base. Use the equivalent of one tablespoon of this mixture in your bath. Finish the bath with a cold-water shower.
You can also make one of our original homemade cosmetic recipes: for an invigorating bath, make effervescent pebbles for a citrus bath, or effervescent snowballs for a peppermint bath.Aphrodisiac baths
Essential oils with aphrodisiac virtues, such as Ylang Ylang, Jasmine, Patchouli, Vetiver or Sandalwood, are the most pleasantly scented for a bath. Pour into a solvent (e.g. Solub-HE) 4 drops of Ylang Ylang essential oil combined with 2 drops of patchouli or sandalwood, for example.
Sweat baths
Turpentine essential oil is particularly suitable for "sweating". Pour 10 drops into a solvent (e.g. Solub-HE). In addition to its sweat-inducing properties, Turpentine essential oil soothes rheumatic pains and oily coughs.
To dilute your essential oils, you can use various supports such as bath salts, Solub HE or our Foaming Gel.
